The included mib.txt with the cmu library is not very complete, missing 
descriptions and quite a few missing oid's. The mib.txt included with 
gxsnmp is a bit more complete and has descritpions for all current 
mibs. 

To use this put it where your exsisting mib.txt file is (/etc/mib.txt, 
/usr/lib/mib.txt etc..)

PS: 

If you even want to add something GNOME specific to the MIB, you might do
this using the Enterprise ID 3319 (assigned to GNOME). But please contact
snmp@gnome.org to make sure it doesn't conflict with already existing
definitions.
